Huaqin Technology Beach Cleanup Public Welfare Activity

Two Decades of Forging Ahead, Fourteen Years of Commitment to Public Welfare
On June 20, 2025, over 400 senior leaders and partners of Huaqin Technology gathered at Dalian Island in Fuzhou. Under the theme “Twenty Years of Leaping • Journeying Together Toward Mountains and Seas,” they celebrated the company’s 20th anniversary with a large-scale beach cleanup initiative. As a milestone in the company’s development converged with its long-standing dedication to public welfare, this “Mountain and Sea Pledge” became a vivid embodiment of Huaqin people’s commitment to sustainable development.

Bending Down to Protect the Blue
The 400+ participants formed 21 teams and transformed into guardians of the ocean. Armed with trash pickers and giant 2-cubic-meter collection bags, they conducted a meticulous cleanup along 16 kilometers of coastline. Under the scorching sun, every time they bent down—
✅ They picked up discarded fishing nets and plastic waste
✅ They upheld their promise to preserve clear skies and blue seas
✅ A total of 42 cubic meters of marine debris was removed (equivalent to three fully loaded dump trucks)

Did you know? Marine debris refers to long-lasting human-made or processed solid waste found in marine and coastal environments, with plastic accounting for 80%-95% of it. Sources include land-based inputs (80%, such as sewage and littering) and sea-based inputs (20%, such as fishing and shipping activities). This waste entangles and endangers marine life through ingestion, while breaking down into microplastics that threaten ecosystems and human health through the food chain. It also damages coral reefs and affects navigational safety. Approximately 8 million tons of plastic enter the ocean globally each year, calling for integrated land-sea governance to reduce pollution.
